Peach Tea, Lemongrass & Wildflower Honey
This is our first Ethiopian release of the season. We have been working with coffees from Banko Gotiti for several years now, and this is one of the best expressions we have tasted to date. In the cup we find peach tea, lemongrass, and wildflower honey.
Banko Gotiti is a small town in the south of Gedeo County, in Kochere, Yirgacheffe. The washing station there processes cherry from around 2,000 smallholder farmers who cultivate coffee on single-hectare (~2.5-acre) garden plots. This traditional model of coffee cultivation and processing remains deeply rooted in the region, and continues to produce some of the finest coffees in the world.
Harvest: December 2025 | Processing: Hand-picked at peak ripeness. Fermented underwater for 24-48 hours. Dried on raised beds for 10-14 days.

from 3 reviewsNice experience in the process; the seller is very helpful and responsive as well
The aroma opened with very prominent honey notes, which were quite inviting. As an espresso, the chocolate tones and sweetness came through pretty strongly, leaning more toward the sweet side than bitter, which is exactly what i wanted.
