Geisha
Washed
Sweet Mandarin, Jasmine & Honey
Marysabel Caballero and Moises Herrera grow this Geisha at Finca el Puente in La Paz, Honduras — a farm with a long record of Cup of Excellence placements, including 1st place for Geisha in 2016. Cherries are hand-picked and sorted, then washed with a mechanical mucilage remover before slow drying on raised beds.
Compared to the lighter-bodied Panamanian style, this Honduran Geisha carries a heavier mouthfeel and gentler acidity, with sweet mandarin, floral jasmine, and honey notes and a soft herbal finish.

from 3 reviewsNice experience in the process; the seller is very helpful and responsive as well
The aroma opened with very prominent honey notes, which were quite inviting. As an espresso, the chocolate tones and sweetness came through pretty strongly, leaning more toward the sweet side than bitter, which is exactly what i wanted.
