Juan Pablo has a very small garden of 100% Gesha, and is extremely dedicated to quality, gaining recognition in the international market, and showing the world the quality potential that exists in Vilcabamba. In the cup we find apple blossom, lychee, and honeydew.
Juan Pablo represents a new generation of producers committed to cultivating high-quality coffee at extreme elevations and helping elevate the reputation of Vilcabamba. His very small garden is planted entirely with Gesha, and is only in its third year of production.
Harvest: November 2025 | Processing: Hand-picked at peak ripeness. Floated to further remove defects and de-pulped on the day of harvest. Dry-fermented for 32 hours. Washed. Dried on raised beds.

The aroma opened with very prominent honey notes, which were quite inviting. As an espresso, the chocolate tones and sweetness came through pretty strongly, leaning more toward the sweet side than bitter, which is exactly what i wanted.
